The more we get to know Alisha + Brian the more we love them. We didn’t get to do an e-session before the wedding, so I we didn’t know each other too well come wedding day-but we had nothing to worry about! We left their wedding feeling like we had a new adopted family. We just adore Alisha, Brian, and their families. Thanks for treating us so wonderfully! Since Alisha’s dad is an owner of the Chop House, it was shut down for the wedding all day on a Sunday-talk about special! Another special thing-they honeymooned in the gorgeous island of Montserrat for 2 whole weeks. Color me jealous!

We adore Jamie + Bradley. Jamie is so kind hearted you can’t help but love her! And add in Brad’s humor and it’s a match made in heaven. They were married in June at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. Since Jamie has waited so patiently for her blog post-here it goes!

Kelly + Joe were married in May at the super cool Deer Lake Beach House on Boyne’s property. We had a very windy + chilly day for their outdoor ceremony-but when the sun peaked out for a minute during the ceremony, everyone was in Awe. I love Kelly + Joe for their spunk and love of life! We really had an amazing time photographing them + their family.

What can I say about the amazing Cindy + Eric other than fabulous? We love these two and we had such an amazing time photographing their wedding in May at the League in Ann Arbor. Normally you never see the League decked out as nicely as Cindy did. Just a tip for our brides-hire a lighting designer!!!! This made the #1 world of difference in cindy + eric’s wedding photos at the reception. Cindy said that her lighting designer was amazing and very very reasonable, so I will post his info here for all our loyal blog readers. Check him out for sure! We also had the chance to work with the delightful Kate from Purple Clover events for the first time. She was just so wonderful to work for.

and a great ending shot-no matter how fabulous the shoes-I always seem to find the bride never wearing them at the end of the night-I love that the shoes were so gorgeously laid on her seat while she was comfortable in flip flops the rest of the night. Love it!:

On to the fabulous Laura + Chris who were married in May!

We sometimes feel the need to pinch ourselves when we are blessed with some of the most amazing clients. Laura + Chris couldn’t have been more kind or nice to us if they tried. Ditto for their amazing family + friends. We really felt like we were part of the family! We were able to take some photos on the family farm that has been in the family for generations and is soon to be sold-those photos meant a great deal to Laura + Chris as well as her parent’s. We couldn’t be more thrilled we had the opportunity to capture it not only on their wedding day but also for their e-session which you can view here.

Married in April on a lovely spring day that threatened rain all day and in the end the sun came out. Abra wore a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier (http://www.moniquelhuillier.com/) tea length dress and it couldn’t have been more perfect for her.

They were married at the St. Hugo of the Hills and the reception was held at the light-filled Pine Lake Country Club. The wedding was expertly planned by the wonderful Misty Trompeter of Bells + Bliss events (http://www.bellsandbliss.net/).
